Updates Instructions

To determine the version number of your PHDWin software:

1. Run the PHDWin program.
2. Use the "Help" pull-down menu to choose "Tech Support"
3. The information shown will include the version and build number you are currently running.
4. If the version shown is less than the number of the patch above, you should download the patch for your version of the program and update.

To update your VERSION of PHDWin:

1. Download the version from our website here.
2. Unzip the downloaded file in order to access the MSI file inside.
3. Double-click the MSI file to install the new version. DO NOT install the new version into the same folder as a previous version of PHDWin! If you are unsure of how to handle multiple versions of PHDWin, then uninstall the old version before installing the new one.

To update your BUILD of PHDWin:

1. Download the build from our website here.
2. Unzip the downloaded file in order to access the MSI file inside.
3. Double-click the MSI file to install the new version. Install the new build in the same directory as your old build so long as your version (ie 2.7, 2.75, 2.8) is not changing.

NOTE: You must close the PHDWin program prior to installing version or build updates.
